Hi! My name is Abhay Nagar and I am going into my senior year at Montville Township High school. During my freshman summer, I wanted to get a job to gain real world experience, make some money, and occupy my free time. However, I was only 15 years old. Since most jobs require you to be at least a certain age, I struggled looking for a job. Once my sophomore year rolled around, I noticed that my friends were struggling with the same problem I was and were also looking for work. My mother also notified me that many people were requesting help to complete services such as, baby sitting or dog walking, on Facebook. This is when I came up with the idea of Teen Connects. Since there are not many teens on Facebook, I decided to create a platform where people who are requesting services can interact and communicate directly with teens. This website was designed to assist teens in finding jobs to gain experience as well as fulfill the needs of my local community.
